New Patients

Planning for the New Patient Exam

We ask our new patients to wear loose clothing and plan to be here for about 45 minutes for their first appointment.

If possible, initial paperwork can be completed at home and brought to the appointment instead of coming early to fill out forms. Some people prefer a consultation with treatment started at the same appointment if this is the case we are happy to accommodate.
New Patient Paperwork

The first step is to gather a comprehensive history of the individual’s health, this may include a detailed medical history, previous treatment and a family history. After this we will complete a thorough physical examination.

Depending on the concerns at hand, orthopaedic tests or neurological testing may also be completed during the exam. In some situations, patients may need to be referred for imaging purposes. If we do not believe we are best suited to help you. We will then refer you on to someone who can. If we believe we are the best suited to meeting your needs we will explain to you your treatment options and how we would like to proceed. Initial consultations for adults and children are $90 each, with return consultations priced $58 for a standard consultation, and $48 for pensioners, seniors, children and concession card holders.

When Treatment is Required

The goal of our services is to treat the condition of concern by making sure it is either resolved or able to be maintained. We also show individuals how to look after their own spines through exercise, stretching and strengthening to avoid recurrence of the issue. Some of the treatments we offer include:

We will treat you and charge your insurer, third party or medicare directly leaving with no out of pocket costs. We also offer a Hicaps fast claiming terminal to allow for on the spot rebates for all private health funds.

We’re open late all week long, on Saturdays and on Sundays for your convenience, with after-hours emergency services also available.
